RPM Friction Pro V2 Hybrid Flat Top

The V2 builds on the original Friction Pro with RPM’s Axial Carbon Layup and an enhanced EVA foam ring, paired with their CarbonBite surface and Tri-Density core. The result is more spin and power without shrinking the sweet spot. Co-designed with James Ignatowich, and built for advanced, competitive play.

Available in 14mm and 16mm. Thinner cores play punchier and more responsive; thicker cores play softer, more stable, and more forgiving on off-centre contact.

The hybrid shape splits the difference between elongated and widebody: enough added length for reach on high balls and volley attacks, with a wider face that keeps a broad, forgiving sweet spot. The flat top squares off the head, moving mass upward for extra stability and plough-through on drives.

Colourways

The V2 colour is set by core thickness: 16mm is red (James Ignatowich signature) and 14mm is blue (Ryan Fu signature). Choose your thickness and the colour follows.
